Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna river in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated about 230 kilometres south-east of the national capital Delhi and 330 km west of the state capital Lucknow. Although I have been here many times in my life, these photos are from 2 trips in 2013 and 2020 respectively.
Of course, if you visit Agra, you will visit the Taj Mahal.

The complex has many beautiful buildings inside.
Too bad they don’t let you go inside the actual mausoleum. However, you can roam around the courtyard freely otherwise.

The gardens surrounding the Taj are beautiful and well kept.

The other place to visit in this city is the Agra Fort.
