We arrived here from Pamukkale by bus and the otherworldly landscape blew us away. Fairy chimneys for as far as the eyes can see. We stayed in Göreme. The town looked extremely quaint during the off-season.

Göreme Historical National Park and Pigeon Valley is worth a full day visit.

We went for an all-day trek through Rose Valley.

One day we went to Kaymakli Underground City, which is a fascinating visit.

And lastly, no visit to Cappadocia is complete without experiencing the landscape from a hot air balloon.
