Digha is a seaside resort town located in the Purba Medinipur district in the state of West Bengal, India. Situated at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal, it is a popular coastal tourist destination known for its low gradient and shallow sand beaches.
It is also one of the worst places I have been to, in my life. So much so, I started hating beaches till I went to a proper beach.

The beach itself was not bad (naturally), just that it had garbage strewn all over it and the town surrounding it was filthy and poorly maintained.
