Prague (Czech: Praha) is the capital and largest city of the Czechia and the historical capital of Bohemia. Located on the Vltava River, it has a population of about 1.4 million, while its metropolitan area is home to approximately 2.3 million people.
We arrived here from Vienna by train.

Streets of Prague
As with any good city, the best way to explore the city is by foot. The city has a very gothic feel to it.
I was surprised to find an Indian Cafe Coffee Day outlet there.

Old Town, Jewish Quarters & Royal Palace
We took a walking tour of the Old Town, the Jewish Quarters and the Royal Palace.

Vltava River & Bridges
The Vltava bisects the city into 2 parts.

Charles We visited the famous Charles Bridge.
You find smaller canals branching off the river in the most unexpected places, under buildings etc.

No visit to a European capital is complete without a cruise on the river.



Prague Castle
The Prague Castle was just ok, nothing exciting.
But it offers a great view of the city from the top.

Churches and Cathedrals
Prague is home to many gothic churches and cathedrals, most of which allow tourists to go in.
Wenceslas Square
Wenceslas Square is the main city square of Prague. Our hotel was close, so we spent a lot of time here.
